I have had to make some hard decisions in my 71 years on this planet. And this one was no easier.
Back in 2009 I began a website for folks who were thinking about Lap Band Surgery, had already had Lap Band Surgery, or were just curious about Lap Band Surgery.
The website included blogs (which were weekly articles written by myself and my business partner at the time), news, discussion boards and recipes which we featured in our weekly newsletters sent to you via email.
After a few years my business partner went her way and I continued with the website, the weekly articles, recipes, and newsletters. Then Facebook erupted, and then Twitter, then Instagram, etc, etc. Now I still write my blogs, share new recipes and the latest WLS news on the website. I find myself sharing this info on Facebook more often than not, and so my decision.
This is the final article that will appear in a Banded Living newsletter. The site will be shut down as of 9-30-19. I will continue to blog and write articles which I will share with all of you on Facebook, or on my blog site which will continue at http://sandisbandedliving.com/.
There are only 24 hours in every day and I still devote a huge share of them to supporting the weight loss surgery community in many ways - with my posts on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and speaking at support groups all over CA, (I’ll speak anywhere if you get me there); coaching and educating weight loss surgery patients as www.wlssuccessmatters.com, my Cookbook, and my position on the Board of Directors of the www.wlsfa.org (Weight Loss Surgery Foundation of America).
