Somewhere, sometime on this Banded Living™ journey you may find yourself falling back into some old habits.  Perhaps it is while you are on vacation, during holidays, special events, or when you are under an extreme amount of stress.  If you have a day, a week, or even a month or two of poor choices it is no reason to give up.  You still have your lap band and can get yourself back to the place where you were transforming yourself and losing weight, or maintaining your weight if you are at that point in your journey.  The key is to remember that you have your tool and just need to go back to using it.  That is what we call re-booting.

Getting Back To Basics After Falling Off The Wagon

Now that you have gone through how to get back to basics, answer these seven questions for yourself:

  • 1. What does back to basics mean to me?
  • 2. What are my less than perfect food choices?
  • 3. How can I plan my meals?
  • 4. How can I get in all my water?
  • 5. What can I do for exercise?
  • 6. Should I keep track of all of this somewhere?
  • 7. What do I have in place for support?

Now who on your support team are you going to share your answers with?
