Asian Style Turkey Burgers
Last week they were Greek, this week using some Asian flavorings to give the burgers that special something that makes them great!
Ingredients:
- 16 ounces Lean Ground Turkey (93% Lean)
- 1/2 cup Onion, Chopped
- 12 Water Chestnut Slices, Chopped
- 3 tablespoons Red Bell Pepper, Chopped
- 3 tablespoons Soy Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Minced Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Sea Salt
- 1/4 teaspoon Fresh Ground Black Pepper
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients thoroughly in a bowl
- Shape into 6 patties
- Refrigerate the patties on a plate for at least 15 minutes (this helps them hold together)
- Cook on preheated grill or in pan on the stove that’s been sprayed with non-stick spray
- Turn and cook until center of the burgers are 165 degrees
- Remove from heat, serve hot with sriracha sauce or Chinese mustard as a condiment if you like spicy
