Bacon Bleu Cheese Burgers
Every now and then I want a burger fresh off the grill (or out of the broiler if the weather doesn’t permit the grill). I want it full of flavor so each bite is a taste treat. These burgers do just that and hubby loves them as much as I do.
Ingredients:
- 8 ounces ground beef, 96/4 (96% lean)
- 1 ounce bleu cheese, cut into two pieces
- 4 slices center cut bacon
- Salt, pepper, granulated garlic
- Toothpicks
Directions:
- Add salt, pepper and granulated garlic to the ground beef, mixing with your hands
- Divide in half
- Flatten out each half and place the bleu cheese in the center of each
- Roll up, sealing the edges
- Wrap two slices of bacon around each rolled up burger, securing with toothpicks as necessary
- Grill, turning frequently until bacon and beef are cooked to your liking.
- Plate, remove toothpicks and enjoy
