Curried Beef and Broccoli Slaw
It worked with broccoli slaw, beef and barbecue sauce. Decided to change it up and add a bit of Thai style to it for variety. It worked!!!
Ingredients:
- 16 oz of ground bison (90/10)
- 1 bag of broccoli slaw
- 6 ounces of baby bok choy
- 1/3 cup Trader Joe’s red curry simmer sauce
- Salt
- Pepper
- Garlic powder
Directions:
- Add salt, pepper and garlic powder to taste and brown the bison in a 10 inch skillet breaking it up as it cooks
- When cooked through transfer to a plate
- Add baby bok choy and broccoli slaw to the pan and mix
- Add ½ cup water, cover and simmer for about 5 minutes until broccoli slaw is cooked to soft
- If there is any water left in the pan let it steam off
- Add the bison back to the pan, add the red curry simmer sauce, mix well and cook through until hot all the way through
- Serve
