Garlic Sriracha BBQ Turkey Meatloaf

The weather here has cooled off enough to turn on my oven to bake a tasty meatloaf.  If it is garlic and Sriracha sauce my family will love it.  How about yours?

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spray a skillet with non-stick spray and heat to medium high
  2. Sauté chopped onions, stirring frequently, until they are opaque and softening
  3. Add garlic, continue stirring for about one minute
  4. Remove from heat and set aside to cool
  5. In a large mixing bowl add the turkey, onion, garlic, egg whites, bread crumbs, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and 2 tablespoons of the BBQ sauce.  Mix together well, using your hands if necessary
  6. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  7. Spray a loaf pan with non-stick and place the turkey mixture into the loaf pan
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for about 30 minutes.  Remove from oven, brush the top with the reserved 2 tablespoons of BBQ sauce.  Return to oven and bake for another 5 - 10 minutes.  Internal temperature should be 165 degrees when done
  9. Remove from oven and let rest for about 5 minutes.  Serve hot with your vegetable of choice
