Greek Salad Turkey Burgers
All of the tastes that I love in Greek salad like spinach, olives, feta cheese, onion and garlic rolled into a hamburger that rocked my world.
Ingredients:
- 1 Package Trader Joe’s 99% Lean Ground Turkey (Mine Was 22.4 oz)
- 4 cups Baby Spinach, Chopped
- 2.25 oz Can Sliced Black Olives, Drained
- 1 Extra Large Egg
- 1.5 oz Crumbled Feta Cheese
- 2 tablespoons Dried Onions
- Oregano, 1/2 teaspoon or to Taste
- Lemon Pepper, 1/2 teaspoon or to Taste
- Basil, 1/2 teaspoon or to Taste
- Garlic, 1/2 teaspoon or to Taste
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients together until well blended
- Make into 6 equal size/weight “meatballs”
- Flatten in palms of hands and place in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes (this will help them stay together when cooking)
- Grill on barbecue or on stove in skillet that has been sprayed with non-stick spray and is preheated to medium high
- Turn when meat browns on one side, turn and cook to an internal temperature of 165
- Remove from grill/pan and serve immediately
