Honey Garlic Shrimp In a Flash
This takes 5 minutes to prep, 30 minutes to marinate and just a couple of minutes to cook. Would be great with some green beans drizzled in a bit of the marinade set aside for finishing.
Ingredients:
- 1 pound raw shrimp, tails on
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon minced ginger
- 4 tablespoons honey
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
Directions:
- Combine the garlic, ginger, honey and soy sauce and divide in half
- Marinate the shrimp for about 30 minutes in ½ the marinade.
- Discard the used marinade
- Spray a 10 inch skillet with non-stick spray (I use coconut oil spray or my Misto with olive oil)
- Heat the skillet to medium high and pan sear the shrimp. I would do this in batches of 2 until browned, about 1 minute preside.
- Using tongs rub the shrimp into the caramelized bits of garlic and ginger on the bottom of the pan
- Plate and serve hot drizzled with the ½ of the marinade sauce you set aside
