Italian Style Chopped Salad
This takes about 7 or 8 minutes to toss together and is worth the effort. So many more goodies could be added, and they would certainly change the nutrition so don't forget.
Ingredients:
- 3 Slices of Turkey Breast, Chopped ( The Brand I Used Was 45 Calories/10 Grams of Protein For The 3 Slices)
- 6 Slices of Gallo Light Dry Italian Style Salami, Chopped
- 1 Slice Reduced Fat Provolone Cheese, Chopped
- 1 Individual Serving of Fresh Mozzarella Cheese, Chopped
- 1 cup of Power Greens, Roughly Chopped (Baby Spinach, Baby Kale and Baby Swiss Chard)
- 1 Mini Sweet Pepper, Chopped
- 1 oz of Jicama Root, Chopped
- 1 tablespoon Balsamic Vinegar
- Sprinkle of Dried Basil (Or a Leaf or Two of Fresh Basil, Chopped)
Directions:
- Toss all ingredients together in a bowl and dig in!
