 No Bake Peanut Butter Brownie Protein Bars

What?  You think I don’t get a sweet tooth?  I do, and while I try not to “feed” it I do need protein bars to take with me or to grab on the go if a sit down meal becomes impossible.  This simple, no cook recipe will make 12 yummy tasting brownie protein bars with enough fiber to keep you satisfied for quite some time. 


Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Mix peanut butter and honey together in a bowl. 
  2. Microwave for 30 seconds to soften
  3. Add oats, protein powder, unsweetened cocoa and start with 2 Tablespoons of water
  4. Mix together - the result should be crumbly and slightly moist.  Add additional water as necessary
  5. Press into an 8x8 or 9x9 brownie pan
  6. Refrigerate for 20 minutes
  7. Cut into 12 equal bars
