Orange You Glad You Made This Delicious Bowl

Here is my take on a bowl full of orange “chicken” rice and broccoli.  My family went back for seconds.  I was satisfied with about 3/4 of a serving.

 Ingredients:

 Directions:

  1. In a microwave safe bowl, covered loosely microwave the riced cauliflower on high for 4 minutes.  Set aside
  2. In a large non-stick pan heat the sesame oil over low-medium heat.  Add the ground turkey and brown on all sides
  3. Add the ginger, garlic, chili garlic sauce, orange juice, orange zest and soy sauce.  Stir well and bring to a simmer and simmer on low heat for about 5 minutes, until sauce has reduced and thickened some.  Stir well and remove from heat
  4. At the same time, in a separate pot, steam the broccoli in about 1 inch of water for about 4 minutes until almost soft (or whatever softness or crunchiness you prefer)
  5. Drain the broccoli, put the turkey and spice mixture back on low heat, add the broccoli and the riced cauliflower and mix well to combine all flavors.  When it is warmed through, serve in bowls and top each with a sprinkle of 1 teaspoon of toasted sesame seeds
