Pork Loin Portabella in The Crock Pot

Cold weather means take out the crock pot and here’s a recipe that takes about 10 minutes to toss together, 4-5 hours to cook and then fills the house with delicious smells and our bodies with healthy delicious food.

 

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. Spray crock pot with non stick spray
  2. Add onion, mushrooms, garlic mushroom soup and water to crock pot and stir together to mix well
  3. Make a rub of the salt, pepper, sage and thyme and rub into the pork roast
  4. Set the pork roast into the crock pot and spoon liquid over it
  5. Set the crock pot on low and cook for 4-5 hours
  6. Remove roast from crock pot and using 2 forks shred the meat.  Add the meat back to the crock pot, stir and serve
