Portabella Mushroom Chicken Stew In The Crock Pot
There’s nothing like a hot and hardy dinner on a cold day. Throw together these few ingredients in the morning and come home to a delicious dinner all ready to go. This would go well over “cauli rice” or mashed cauli-potatoes
Ingredients:
- 1 1/2 pounds Chicken Breast
- 8 ounces Baby Bella or Crimini Mushrooms Sliced
- 1 Box (11oz) Trader Joe’s Condensed Portabella Mushroom Soup
- 11 oz Water
- 1 Onion Sliced
- 1 Clove Garlic Crushed
Directions:
- Layer onions, chicken, soup, water, garlic, mushrooms in your slow cooker. Set on high
- Cook for 5-6 hours until chicken shreds easily with a fork
- Remove chicken from crock pot, shred with 2 forks
- Return chicken to crock pot, stir well and serve
