Turkey Burgers Italian Style

Sauce, cheese, turkey, cheese, garlic and onions, spices, oh and more cheese.  Who needs pasta?

 

Ingredients:

Directions:

  1. In a large bowl mix all ingredients (with the exception of the toppings) together thoroughly
  2. Using your hands separate into 6 equal meatballs
  3. Flatten to make burgers and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes for everything to “bind” together
  4. In a large skillet sprayed with non stick spray heated to medium high place the burgers and cook for about 4 minutes
  5. Flip and cook for 2 minutes more.  Place 1 slice lite mozzarella and 1 tablespoon Rustico sauce on each burger and continue cooking for 2 more minutes or until cheese melts
  6. Serve and enjoy
